- Website Design & Development
- Website Maintenance
- Google Business Profile Optimization
- Content Marketing
- Digital Marketing Consulting
We set out specific deliverables, timelines and fees in separate written agreements or proposals.
No Guarantee of Results
Although we use industry best practices and proven strategies, SEO Palo Alto does not guarantee specific search engine rankings, increases in website traffic or lead generation results. Likewise, we do not guarantee revenue growth or search engine indexing.
Search engine algorithms and online competition are beyond our control, so results may vary between businesses and industries. In fact, Google itself says no one can guarantee a top ranking, as its page on whether you need an SEO explains.
Client Responsibilities
In return, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information necessary for project completion.
- Supply required access credentials in a timely manner.
- Review and approve content, designs and deliverables promptly.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
If a client causes delays, project timelines may change as a result.
Payment terms for each service
Unless a written agreement states otherwise:
- Invoices are due upon receipt.
- We quote and invoice fees in US dollars.
- Late payments may result in service suspension.
- Deposits and setup fees are non-refundable.
- Monthly plans renew month to month until you cancel in writing, because there is no long-term contract.
Failure to make payment may also result in termination of services.
Intellectual Property
SEO Palo Alto or its licensors own all content, graphics, logos, branding and materials displayed on this website. Meanwhile, clients retain ownership of the materials they provide.
Upon full payment, ownership of custom website content and deliverables may transfer to the client, unless a written agreement specifies otherwise.
Website Use
In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Introduce viruses, malware or harmful code.
- Copy, reproduce or distribute website content without permission.
We reserve the right to restrict access for users who violate these Terms.
Third-Party Services
Our services may involve third-party platforms, for example Google, Microsoft, Meta, WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and other software providers. However, SEO Palo Alto is not responsible for service interruptions, policy changes, account suspensions or actions taken by third-party providers.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEO Palo Alto shall not be liable for:
- Loss of revenue
- Loss of profits
- Business interruption
- Loss of data
- Indirect or consequential damages
In any case, our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the client for services provided during the preceding twelve (12) months.
Disclaimer
We provide all services and information “as is” and “as available.” As a result, SEO Palo Alto makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding website availability, search engine rankings, marketing performance or business outcomes.

We reserve the right to terminate services or website access at any time if:
- Someone violates these Terms.
- Payments remain outstanding.
- We detect fraudulent or abusive activity.
Clients, in turn, may terminate services according to the terms in their service agreement.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of our website. Therefore, by using our website, you consent to our collection and use of information as that policy describes.
Governing law for these terms of service
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute arising from them will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless a signed service agreement between us says otherwise. Where a signed agreement and these Terms differ, the agreement applies.
If you are located in the United States, nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the laws of your state that cannot be waived by agreement.
Changes to these terms of service
SEO Palo Alto reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date. After that, continued use of our website or services means you accept the changes.
